Only 20 more days till our first family christmas!
We got off to a slow start this year with the tree...I didn't like the way it was the first time so we took it all down and started all over. Now I love it! We are fully decorated and in the christmas spirit! Which I have been since before thanksgiving...I'm so excited this year. Having Harper makes everything more special and he brings us so much joy. We are looking forward to our first christmas as a family...I feel SO blessed.

Here's a wonderful egg nog recipe to really get in the spirit!
Grammys Egg NoG:
2 cups strong coffee
1 1/2 stick cinnamon
6 whole cloves (thats a spice)
6 whole all spice
simmer all together for 15 mins, drain and chill
2 qt oakfarm regular egg nog
1 tbls vanilla
1 cup whip cream
1 qt softened vanilla ice cream
combine coffee, vanilla, egg nog and chill
fold in whip cream & ice cream
Sprinkle with a little nutmeg and serve!
